Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Advanced Trade Analytics Platform (ATAP).

In this role, you will lead the design and development of advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence solutions that support mission-critical decision-making and trade enforcement operations.

You will collaborate with government leaders, engineers, analysts, and data scientists to solve complex business challenges, develop innovative analytical capabilities, and guide the technical direction of data science initiatives.

What You'll Do Lead the design, development, validation, and deployment of machine learning and AI solutions.

Conduct applied research and develop analytical approaches to solve complex mission challenges.

Design and execute studies using large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

Develop statistical models, predictive analytics solutions, and advanced analytical methodologies.

Advise program leadership on technical strategies, emerging technologies, and analytical best practices.

Deliver analytical findings through reports, visualizations, dashboards, and executive briefings.

Lead model validation, quality assurance, and technical review activities.

Mentor data scientists and analysts while providing technical leadership across project teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify mission gaps and data-driven solutions.

Support strategic planning and capability development initiatives.
