Vertical Transportation Designer

GFT is seeking a Vertical Transportation Designer .

In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and improving vertical transportation systems through thoughtful design coordination and integration into complex building environments.

This can be a fully remote position and we will consider applicants anywhere within the United States.

As a BIM / Revit Designer in the Vertical Transportation group, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Managers and Technical Center Manager, contributing your expertise to multiple projects simultaneously.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Produce drawings, layouts as needed and offer technical solutions to the Vertical Transportation Design Team.

Generate various BIM deliverables to clients, including modeling and detailing for project documents for the project teams.

Assist project managers with model presentation for project teams and client meetings.

Complete Revit Project Setup.

Download, review, and understand design drawings and models to accurately design and coordinate vertical transportation designs.

Communicate design changes and issues with the Project Manager and the Design Team.

Responsible for assigned projects with the ability to meet deadlines, budgets, and prioritize assignments while maintain quality standards and accuracy.

Collaborate on multi-discipline, multi-company projects.
